Chocolate shaped pieces of love

by | 3/04/15

It's Easter week, so I thought it would be important to share a chocolate recipe. Best of all, this homemade recipe for pure chocolate is incredibly simple and healthy and will melt in your mouth for a totally perfect taste.

The beauty of these chocolates is in the rich authentic flavor of pure cocoa powder 100 % and cocoa butter, unlike any industrialized chocolate we are used to. The better the cocoa quality, the more delicious the chocolate will be. When I made the first recipe, I couldn't stop eating one after the other, and it's likely that will happen to you too!

But don't worry, this chocolate is healthy, as pure cocoa is classified as a superfood. It is unprocessed and unrefined, which means it contains all the nutrients present in the food. The two best properties of raw cocoa are, firstly, it is one of the richest sources in the world of antioxidants, and secondly, it works to increase serotonin – the hormone of happiness – so you can eat chocolate and at the same time, fight diseases and become happier!

Ingredients:

Yields 20 to 25 units

1 cup cocoa butter

5 to 6 tablespoons of cocoa powder 100%

6 to 8 tablespoons of agave

Instructions:

1- Simply place the three ingredients in a pan and heat gently over low heat until melted, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon so as not to let the mixture boil.

2- Next, add the chocolate cream to the molds and place in the freezer or fridge for about thirty minutes to an hour and then store in the fridge – if you don't eat them all at once! Have a good time!

Note: Cocoa butter and chocolate molds can be found in stores that sell confectionery or party products.
